Elon Musk Announces Twitter’s Latest Game-Changer: Paying for Articles

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, has declared that users will be able to pay for specific articles with only one click on the social media network, which he feels will be advantageous for both consumers and media organisations.

This month, Musk plans to roll out a feature that will let customers who choose not to “sign up for a monthly subscription” “pay a higher per article price for when they want to read an occasional article,” Musk wrote in a tweet.

Musk revealed intentions to monetize material on its website by collecting a 10 percent cut of content subscriptions after the first year prior to his unveiling of the new feature.

Additionally, he had stated that the business would not deduct any money from the first year of content subscriptions.

Musk changed a number of products and organisational structures as soon as he took over the social media firm in October. These included cutting the workforce by about 80% and launching a paid, Twitter-verified blue tick service.

Following a decline in advertising income the year before he finally acquired the company after protracted negotiations, Musk’s goal has been to increase Twitter’s revenue generation.
