Apple had the best people, but they did not have the skill to make phones, so Tony thought of meeting the best experts in the world.
But when he returned from a restaurant in Sweden after having dinner with another team, he found that all his stuff had disappeared.
He says, ‘We knew that a rival company had done this.’
Along with this, a debate had also started on whether to keep a keyboard in the phone or not. A lot of tension arose within the team regarding this.
Steve wanted the iPhone to have a touchscreen, but the rest of the team was against it. Finally one day, in frustration, Steve Jobs clearly said – ‘Those who are against the touchscreen should leave the team.’
There were differences on the style as well, although the team kept working on it secretly from Steve.
When Apple owner Steve Jobs launched the first iPhone at the annual Macworld Expo in San Francisco in 2007, he was ridiculed a lot.
However, at present, this company has become one of the richest companies in the world. And the number of iPhone users is constantly increasing.
Apple’s first iPhone included features like touchscreen, widescreen iPod, mobile phone and internet browser.
According to CNN, at the time of launch, Steve Jobs said, “I have been waiting for this day for the last two and a half years.”
The price of the first iPhone was kept at 399 US dollars (around Rs 16500 at that time).

Where did Steve Jobs get the idea to make the iPhone
In a 2010 interview given at the D8 conference, Steve Jobs said that he was developing a tablet plan. He thought of a way to type on a multitouch glass display instead of a keyboard.
He discussed this with his colleagues, asking if they might create a multitouch display to free up their hands from typing.
“After about six months, my team called me for the multitouch display and they showed me a prototype display,” Steve Jobs stated in the interview.
“I gave it to a really good colleague of mine at UI. After a few weeks, he gave me a call. I was thinking when I noticed him scrolling through rubber bands and other items.
He said, “After this I put the tablet project aside, because the phone was more important. After this we devoted the next few years to iPhone.”
“When we felt that now we can work on some other project, then the work on the tablet project was started again.”
