One of the brothers that made up the well-known musical group The Jackson 5, Tito Jackson, passed away at the age of 70. Tito Jackson was the third child of the Jackson family’s total of nine children. Popular vocalists Michael, a superstar, and Janet, his sister, were both members of this family. It’s also important to note that all of Michael Jackson’s siblings continued to be involved in the music business, helping to establish the Jackson family as well-known figures in the field. The sons of Tito Jackson, TJ, Taj, and Terrill, announced their father’s passing on Instagram on Sunday.

“With heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved father, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us,” TJ, Taj and Terrill wrote in an Instagram post. We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being. Tito Jackson’s brothers Jermaine, Randy, Marlon and Jackie, sisters Janet, Rebbie and LaToya and mother Katherine are deeply saddened by his passing. His father died in 2018.
