Nifty Bank touched the figure of 53,000 for the first time after USA Fed Rate Cut

Washington: The Indian stock market has increased since the USA Federal Reserve announced the first interest rate reduction in four years. Nifty Bank hit the 53,000 mark in today’s trading for the first time. Simultaneously, Nifty closed at 25,416 with a gain of 38.25 points, or 0.15%, and Sensex closed at 83,185, up 236.57 points (10.28%). 

This morning trading started with Nifty rising 110 points at 25488, while Sensex opened 411 points higher at 83360. In today’s trade, there has been good buying in Nifty 50 pack in NTPC, Nestle India and Kotak Bank, while huge decline has been recorded in BPCL, Coal India Limited and Shriram Finance.

Condition of Sectoral Index

On Thursday, Nifty FMCG saw strong increase. After increasing by 0.56%, this index concluded at 64,976, and the Nifty Private Bank similarly closed at 26,651, up 0.56%. Following this, Nifty Bank reached an all-time high of 53,353 but ended the day at 53,038, up 0.54% from its opening level. Nifty Auto ended the day up 0.40% at 25,908 points.

At the same time, Nifty Oil & Gas fell by 1.34% and closed at the level of 12,415, while Nifty Pharma fell by 0.41% and closed at the level of 22,930. The decision of the US Federal Reserve has had a big impact on the shares of the IT sector, hence Nifty IT weakened by 0.34% and closed at the level of 41,946. At the same time, Nifty Energy closed at the level of 42,327 after a slight fall.

The Top Losers of Today

The government-owned business NTPC closed at Rs 423.95, achieving the largest increase of 2.37% on Thursday. Following this, Kotak Bank had a rise of 1.76% and closed at 1,872. Titan Company also closed at 3,781, up 1.50 percent, at the same time. In addition, HUL shares finished at Rs 2,912 following a rise of 1.25%, while Nestle India closed at Rs 2,634 following a rise of 1.43%.

The Top Gainers of Today

Simultaneously, Adani Port’s shares dropped 1.45% to close at Rs 1,408, and L&T’s shares ended the day at Rs 3,684. TCS’s stock dropped 1.16 percent and ended the day at Rs 4,296. In addition, HCL Tech’s stock dropped 1.14% and ended the day at Rs 1,736. In parallel, JSW Steel finished with a 0.87% decrease at 948.40 and Tata Steel with a 0.71% fall at 149.54.
