Fans were shocked because Sophie Turner had never done this before when she posted a photo of her oldest daughter Willa on her Instagram Stories earlier today. The Game of Thrones actor has since apologised for her post and asked her followers to “delete the video” in a new Instagram Story.
In an Instagram Stories note, Sophie stated, “prior today I made an honest mistake mistakenly sharing a video of our baby on Instagram stories. I have since deleted the prior video of our daughter. Since we have always fought for our children’s right to privacy, making this information public goes against everything I stand for.
Our kids should have the freedom to develop privately, away from prying eyes. Know that whatever I ever share about our children is surely a mistake. Please remove the video if it has been reposted on any other platform, I would really appreciate it.
When Sophie applied a dog filter to Willa’s face in the now-deleted video Sophie had shared with her daughter, the toddler immediately displayed an endearing tongue wag. She then added, “Good morning!” while Sophie laughed in the background.
Willa, who turns 3 in July, and a second daughter, whose name has not yet been disclosed, are Sophie and Joe Jonas’s children. Midway through July 2022, the couple had their second child. Sophie had previously stated, “I’m very protective of the life we’ve built… My daughter never asked for any of this,” in an interview with Elle UK.
I am aware of the harm being in this industry, being photographed daily, and receiving criticism can do to your mental health. Unless she explicitly states that she wants to deal with it, I don’t want her to. Regarding that, we are quite strict. We’ll support her in whatever she chooses, but I don’t believe we would allow her to do anything professionally till she is 18. I care a lot about my kid not growing up to be a nepotistic child.
Her husband Joe is a member of the Jonas Brothers, who are preparing for the May 12 release of their new album, The Album. Out of the album’s 12 songs, Wings, the first single, and Waffle House, the second song, have been made public.
